Verbosity: the fact or quality of using more words than needed; wordiness. Garrulous: excessively talkative, especially on trivial matters. Loquacity: the quality of talking a great deal; talkativeness. Circumlocution: the use of many words where fewer would do, especially in a deliberate attempt to be vague or evasive.
