Question : 95 of 271
Marks: +1, -0
1x2+2x+2\frac{1}{\sqrt{x^2+2x+2}}
Solution:
Let I=∫1x2+2x+2 dxI=\int\frac{1}{\sqrt{x^2+2x+2}}\,dx =dx(x+1)2+1=\frac{dx}{\sqrt{(x+1)^2+1}}
∴I=log⁡∣(x+1)+(x+1)2+1∣+C\therefore I=\log\left| (x+1)+\sqrt{(x+1)^2+1} \right|+C
=log⁡∣(x+1)+x2+2x+2∣+C=\log\left| (x+1)+\sqrt{x^2+2x+2} \right|+C
