Question : 101 of 271
Marks: +1, -0
4x+12x2+x−3\frac{4x+1}{\sqrt{2x^2+x-3}}
Solution:
Let I=∫4x+12x2+x−3 dxI=\int \frac{4x+1}{\sqrt{2x^2+x-3}}\,dx
Put 2x2+x−3=t2x^2 + x - 3 = t ⇒(4x+1)dx=dt\Rightarrow (4x + 1)dx = dt
∴I=∫dtt=∫t−1/2 dt\therefore I=\int \frac{dt}{\sqrt{t}} = \int t^{-1/2}\,dt =2t1/2+C=2t^{1/2}+C =22x2+x−3+C=2\sqrt{2x^2 + x - 3}+C
