Question : 9 of 32
Marks: +1, -0
The resistance of a conductivity cell containing 0.001M KCl solution at 298 K is 1500 Ω. What is the cell constant if conductivity of 0.001M KCl solution at 298 K is 0.146 × 103^{-3}S cm1^{-1}.
Solution:
Cell constant =K×R= K \times R
=0.146×103×1500=0.146\times10^{-3}\times1500
=0.219cm1=0.219\,\mathrm{cm}^{-1}
