Solution:  
U = 12CV2\frac{1}{2} CV^{2} = 12\frac{1}{2} × 12 × 10−12×50210^{-12} \times 50^{2} = 15000 × 10−1210^{-12} or U = 1.5 × 10−810^{-8} J
