Solution:

We have, z1 = 2 – i, z2 = 1 + i, z1+z2 + 1 = (2 – i) + (1 + i) + 1 = 4 + 0i and z1–z2 + 1 = (2 – i) – (1 + i) + 1 = 2 – 2i
