Solution:

Coordinates of A(4,0) and B(−2,3)
‌ Length of ‌AB‌=√(−2−4)2+(3−0)2
‌=√36+9=√45
‌=3√5‌ units. ‌
Coordinates of A(4,0) and C(−2,−4)
‌ Length of ‌AC‌=√(−2−4)2+(−4−0)2
‌=√36+16=√52
‌=2√13‌ units. ‌
