Solution:  
From the graph, AB=6 cm,BB′=8AB = 6\,\text{cm}, BB' = 8 cm\text{cm} .
In △ABB′\triangle ABB'
(AB′)2  =AB2+(BB′)2(AB')^2 \; = AB^2 + (BB')^2
  =(6)2+(8)2=36+64=100\; = (6)^2 + (8)^2 = 36 + 64 = 100
AB′  =10=A′BAB' \; = 10 = A'B
( ABA′B′ABA' B' is a parallelogram)
   Perimeter of   AB′B′  =A′B′+AB′\; \text{ Perimeter of } \; AB' B' \; = A'B' + AB' +AB+A′B+ AB + A' B
  =6+10+6+10\; = 6 + 10 + 6 + 10
  =32   units.   \; = 32 \; \text{ units. } \;
