When placed in bright sunlight for four hours, what do you observe with regard to the initial and final weight of the plant? Give a suitable reason for your answer.
Solution:
Initial weight is more. After placing in sunlight for four hours, we notice a fall in the final weight of the plant. Reason: The rate of transpiration is more in sunlight. The fall in weight is the loss of water by plant due to transpiration.
