Calculate the power spent by a crane while lifting a load of mass 2000kg2000 \text{kg}, at velocity of 1.5ms1(g=10ms2)1.5 \text{ms}^{-1} \cdot (g=10 \text{ms}^{-2})

Given : m=2000kg,v=1.5ms1m=2000 \text{kg}, v=1.5 \text{ms}^{-1},
g=10ms2,P=  ?  g=10 \text{ms}^{-2}, P=\;\text{?}\;
We know,
  Power  (P)  =  Work(W)time(t)\;\text{Power}\;(P)\;=\;\frac{\text{Work}(W)}{\text{time}(t)}
  =  mght    (W=mgh)\;=\;\frac{m g h}{t} \;\; (\because W=m g h)
  =mg×v    (  ht=v)\;=m g \times v \;\; \left(\because \;\frac{h}{t}=v\right)
  =2000×10×1.5watt\;=2000 \times 10 \times 1.5 \text{watt}
  =30,000watt\;=30,000 \text{watt}
