If now the loudness of the sound from flute becomes four times that of the sound from piano, then write the value of the ratio AF:Ap⋅(AF.A_F: A_p \cdot (A_F.-amplitude of sound wave from flute, ApA_p amplitude of sound wave from piano)
Solution:  
∵;;\because \\;\\; Loudness 2^2 (amplitude) 2^2
∴;;;LFLP=(AFAP)2\therefore \\;\\; \\;\frac{L_F}{L_P} = \left( \frac{A_F}{A_P} \right)^2
Now, loudness of flute is become 4 times of piano
⇒;41=(;AFAP)2\Rightarrow \\;\frac{4}{1} = \left( \\;\frac{A_F}{A_P} \right)^2
⇒;AFAP=;41=;21\Rightarrow \\;\frac{A_F}{A_P} = \sqrt{ \\;\frac{4}{1} } = \\;\frac{2}{1}
∴;AF:AP=2:1\therefore \\;A_F: A_P=2: 1
