Question : 57 of 67
Marks: +1, -0
Why is the slope of CD less than slope of ABA B ?
Solution:
The part ABA B represents the rise in temperature of the substance from initial temperature to temperature t1t_1. The part CD represents the rise in temperature from t1t_1 to t2t_2. It is clear from the diagram that raise in temperature of part CDC D is more, so it will take more time. Therefore the slope of CDCD is less than slope of ABAB.
