Given : L=20 kgf,E=L = 20\,\text{kgf}, E = ?
In equilibrium,
L=2TL = 2T and EffortE=T\text{Effort} E = T
∴\therefore Effort needed, E=L2=20 kgf2E = \frac{L}{2} = \frac{20\,\text{kgf}}{2}
=10 kgf= 10\,\text{kgf}
