Question : 21
Total: 70
Calculate the equivalent resistance between the points A and B for the following combination of resistors :
Solution:
Let 4Ω,4Ω and 4Ω are in series.

R1=4+4+4=12Ω‌. ‌
Now 2Ω,2Ω and 2Ω are in series.

R2=2+2+2=6Ω

Now R1=12Ω,R2=6Ω and 4Ω are in parallel.

Now resistance between A and B,5Ω,2Ω and 6Ω are in series.

Resistance between A and B, R=5+2+6 =13Ω
Hence, Equivalent resistance between A and B=13Ω
