On adding lead mitrate solution to dilute hydrochloric acid - white ppt of $\mathrm{PbCl}_2$ is formed, which dissolves on heating. On adding lead nitrate solution to dil. sulphuric acid - white ppt of $\mathrm{PbSO}_4$ is formed which is insoluble on heating.
