We use the formula for the number of turns per unit length of a solenoid:
L=µ0n2Al
where:
L = 0.016H (Inductance)
l = 0.81m (Length of solenoid)
r = 0.02m (Radius)
A=Ï€r2 (Cross-sectional area)
n = Nl (Turns per unit length)
Rearranging for N:
N=Lµ0A×l
Substituting values:
N=0.016(4π×10−7)×(π×(0.02)2)×0.81 =16×81100×1000×10−11×16π2
N=4×9×10004π=9000π
=N≈2866
