The benefits of training are as follows (any three):
(i) Standardisation-Training helps in standardising or making trained employees to follow same / standardised methods and techniques of production. Thus, ensuring consistent quality of the products/services.
(ii) Increases morale - Training leads to increase morale of employees as it reduces dissatisfaction at work, reduces complaints, and increases interest in the work post-training. This further results in increased loyalty to the organization
(iii) Reduces supervision and direction - It enables an employee to know what job they, have to do and how to do their job efficiently without requiring guidance and supervision.
(iv) Economical use of resources- It ensures that employees make better and economical use of available resources like raw materials, machines and equipment leading to reduced cost of wastages, delays or errors
(v) Future human resource needs - Proper training to employees makes them eligible for promotions and handling mores responsibilities, thus creating new vacancies in the organisation. It acts as the basis for creating future human resources needs of the organisation.
