The reliefs available to a consumer if the consumer court is satisfied about the genuineness of the complaint are as follows (any five):
(i) To remove the faults or defects in the product
(ii) Enabling replacement of the product if it is not genuine or not as described in the packaging
(iii) Ensuring that the manufactured product were in accordance to laws and regulations.
(iv) Providing compensation to consumers for damage or loss of property or injury suffered by the consumer
(v) Making provisions for return or refund of price to the complainant
(vi) Issuing advertisement to neutralise the effect of misleading advertisement on the cost of the opposite party or respondent.
