Solution:  
Height of cone = 8 cm.
Area of base =156 cm2=\text{156 cm}^2.
Volume of cone (V) =  13=\;\frac{1}{3} ×\times Area of base ×\times Height
Putting values we get,
V=  13×156×8V = \;\frac{1}{3} \times 156 \times 8
=  12483=416cm3.= \;\frac{1248}{3} = 416 \text{cm}^3.
Hence, the volume of cone =416 cm3=\text{416 cm}^3.
