What do the first two lines tell us about the poet's feelings for her mother?

Solution:

The poet had the childhood fear that she would lose her mother soon. She possessed the same fear while going away from her. But she did not say anything to her except the optimistic note 'see you soon Amma'. She gave her a cheerful farewell.
